Here are the first 4 photos of the trip with my mum and Aligi. Unfortunately my hard disc crashed some days ago so I’m going to upload the rest of the trip when I’m back in Berlin and my computer is fine again.

Southern Iceland// Hafnarfjörður

The first real sunny and warm day in Iceland, March 25th. Christoph and me decided to skip work at university, pickep up Aligi and went to Hafnarfjörður in order to enjoy the afternoon sitting on the beach and watching fishermen.

Hiking trip to Esja, Reykjvavík’s home mountain on the 16th of December. Michi wanted to go there before he left so we set off. The sun came over the mountains when we were on  300m at 11:30 am while Reykjavík was still sleeping in twilight. And yes, it was cold. The peak was frozen.

Western Iceland // Snæfellsnes

Weekend trip with Aligi to the peninsula Snæfellsnes. Doesn’t look like Iceland, does it? It was amazing!

Reykjavík & southern Iceland // Sebastian visiting

Today I uploaded some new photos: having a walk in Reykjavík at the end of September enjoying a sunny day (see post beneath) and some pics I took while being around with Sebastian in southern Iceland. The last one was taken at the top of Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavík. We used the good weather last sunday and went upstairs. Nice view. Somewhere on the righthand site is the house I’m living in. Sebastian is visiting me for attending to the Iceland Airwaves, the biggest music festival in Iceland starting tomorrow.
